Hello, a friend of mine has just bought a new logo500 with v-stabi and it will arrive this week.
He flyes with Futaba T14. Is there a guide how setting up this radio for v-stabi? I don't really know how T14 works because i'm using DX7 and i have always used JR stuff. For v-stabi seems that 4 channels are the ticket.
The default settings of v-stabi are a good point to start or there is special value to put for logo5003D?

Let me know

The model you need in your tx is a simple 4-axis model.

It can be a heli (mech. swash mixing)

Or a simple fixedwing plane.

For general info about VStabi read the VStabi WIKI website:

http://vstabi.de/wiki/index.php?title=Hauptseite

some setups are available here:

http://www.vstabi.de/forum1/list.php?6

before importing a setup read this:

http://vstabi.de/wiki/index.php?tit..._another_setup?

but i think the default setup would be nice to start your own learning process about vstabi and improve it step by step on your own.

Correct, you only want standard 4 channels. For a heli, this means each channel has a single independent servo, NO CCPM. The mixer will control everything from there. The only adjustments you will use in the radio will be Dual Rates and Expo (and pitch/throttle curves). All other adjustments (trim, travel, etc etc) will be done within the software.

Ok many thanks for your help. I will try. Great info on v-stabi WIKI.

About the trim if i trim the elevator on TX diring the flight it will work or not? I don't understand when you say that trim is not needed on TX.

Thanks

The trim works during the flight.

But you had to trim in the pc soft afterwards because VStabi will always set the actual stick position to zero movement while powering up.
