I'm using the Rotorsport 700mm blades right now, but I'd really love to get my hands on some SAB 700mm blades. Somehow the Rotorsports seem to dent and chip very easily, where as the SABs seem to have a more rugged shell.

What's the longest tail blades you can use w/ 700mm blades and stock boom. I had to trim mine down to 100mm.

You can get away with 103mm on the tail blades.

Is this w/ 2 thick shims on both sides of the head and heavy 3D???
I chopped off a couple sets of 105's (from bolt to tip) w/ 700's.

Conrod, yes. 2 thick shims and hard 3D, no problems.

Aren't the 2 thick washers in the head supposed to stiffen up the head therefore allowing the use of longer tail blades? I've seen a Fury fly 3D with 105's, but the tail wagged in fast flight so they cut it down to 103 with satisfactory results, no problems after many flights.

Here here 700 Rotorsport (really Gama blades) work great.... I love the way they perform and they retail for $99 cant beat that!!!
