e-MS Composit Hornet > FP blades on CP Hornet

At someone's suggestion I got a CP Hornet, but am planning on using FP blades since I am still a novice (I can hover my Hawk IV). Can someone suggest a way to modify the blades and/or blade grips for the FP blades. I have never had to do something like this, so I am not sure of my fabrication skills. If anyone know of an available mod that would be great.

Also, where can I get heat shrink for my GY240? I have tried Radio Shack and Fry's, but nothing. Hoping to fin a store, but failing that online is good too.

Thanks,
Paul

You can use tail boom heat shrink, a Hirobo product

I did this just last week. Bought them at local hobby store not realizing they were from the FP model. I used a lathe and made some aluminum adapter washers since the screw size and root thickness are different from CP blades. Had to adjust radio as well since FP blades have a lot of pitch built in. Flew great for hovering and forward flight.

To get the most out of the FP blades on your CP Hornet go here: http://microhelis.homestead.com/FGCPblades.html
Cyham's earlier post was too modest as these are his instuctions.
