Have you used this fuel?

What %nitro and in what engine?

Does it work as advertised, more power, better cooling, less smoke?

Thanks,

Greg

Fuel

This is the only fuel I burn now! I've used both 15 and 30% Synthetic with 18% oil.

I really like it.

I can buy the Wildcat 30% for $20.00. and Coolpowers costs $24.99.

Saves several bucks!

I run an O.s. 32 and (2) Os 61sxh-wc's

We ran Wildcat 30 this seaon.

I liked it alot. Less smoke than CP30 and at least as much power but
it leaves a residue that can cook on the muffler and that was undesirable.

Also, we got a deal on CP30 @ $16/gallon so we are back to CP.

Engines were OS32, 61SXWC and YS61 I and II

Synthetic Oil

I use the wildcat with total synthetic oil. It doesn't leave a residue. The castor/synthetic blend will.

wildcat fuel

I have just recently started using Wildact helimix 15% and 30% fuel and I really like the fact that it smokes so much less than cool power and powermaster.

Both the 15% and 30% fuel contain 18% total synthetic fuel so there shouldn't be a residue. As for the more power claim, I did notice a little increase in my OS 50 when I burned the 30% fuel compared to powermaster 30%. Additionally the fumes don't sting your eyes and has a pleasant ivory soap smell.

Just remember to richen up your needle values a few clicks since the oil is of thicker viscosity.

Happy flying.

I dont know what to tell you. Every gallon I have is marked
100% synthetic Helimix. Every person I fly w/ and a number of
people on the net I've spoken to have had the same 'residue'.

If your not experiencing it, well, thats good. Personally, I like the
fuel but I was outvoted in the bulk buy and saving $2 a gallon
(Wildcat was $18/gl shipped vs $16 for CP) was another incentive.
