Check this out...If you do a search, and analyze it, you'll see that
it's a very worth while investment...not to mention an all-in-one portable solution!!!

PS...you still must purchase the battery and charger. But in the long run, it's still a great deal!!!

Hi Rob,

A few guy in our club have that setup. Bill & Tony have one for sure. It's a nice setup. That link is only for the plate. You still need to buy that battery and a charger.

You can go with a low budget setup such as this which will yield the same results.....

I used the same battery as JuanRodriguez, but I sacrificed a Black & Decker flashlight to make the battery holder. The fast charger is $24,the flashlight is $12, and the batteries are 2 for $37 at Lowes. It starts 90's like they are 50's!

Just built one of these using the 12 dollar flashlight and the 24 dollar 18 volt battery/charger combo. It cranks my helis and planes both like they are nothing. Thanks for the great ideas guys...

now when i need any cordless power tools, i can use the same bateries for everything.

Hey Rob,

If you got spare battery packs for the RC cars, just strap it on the starter.

It's not as fancy as the one you want but it works.
