| I got my new revco gears from ready Heli so I could gear down my Hurricane. i am now running the New ready Heli RCP H18/11 motor and evo 3s 2500 packs, with the stock gearing I was running 100 95 90 95 100 for curves and getting 4 minute flights. with the revco gears I decided to try the 21t first and go with a flat 100% curve, so I got the new 68t gear with the 21t pinion.
first impressions was WOW is this thing Quiet now. all you hear is blade! I only picked up another 30 seconds of flight but I would have to say I like the performance. the head speed is very consistant now, batteries and motor run cooler. I was hopeing for 5 minute flights but I get a Good 4.5 minutes of flying
next step is try the A123 7s packs coming this week! the cells are on the bench ready to get put together. |
