I find it easier to accept when I've caused the crash. I get cheesed off when something out of my control fails and it goes in.
Looks like its repairable though.

It's refreshing to see that somebody can admit he made an error and still have some fun out of a bad situation. Wish I could learn to do that. Sorry to see the carnage but I hope you get it up and running again. I was lucky with mine once, flying straight and level, thought it was turning towards me, gave wrong command- ended up doing some 3D before I got my orientation back and regained control. Landed safely but shaky. Lived to fight another day!! Mine's the plain green one, thinking about painting it bright pink or something easy to see.

Switch26, Talk to the doctors the other day said the pilots will be fine in a few months to be in the air again, just about the same time the repairs will be completed on the heli.

LOL! I love showing these to my 12 y.o. daughter. She always makes the same comments you guys are joking about: "Gee I hope the little pilots are still ok!"

Coolpowered, I commend you on your "acceptance of blame" and good-hearted nature given the circumstances - sometimes that is what the hobby is all about. Godspeed on the rebuild and thanks for posting the pics!

You should have had a buddy with a scale EC135 Air Ambulance air lift them to this place:

Boy, hope the pilots don't have head injuries - doesn't look like they were wearing their helmets.

(Next time, add a little ketchup in a few places )

Looks like you survive the engine and some electronics. Other than that it seems a total loss.
