I need to know how much I can lift with a 90, i am on a special project which will require me to lift as heavy payloads as I can get on and I need half tank of fuel or at least 8 minutes worth.

set-up

90 with metal head ad CF keep light as posible and a os91H hyper,

how big can I put the blades More lift capacity no need for 3d even semi symetrical would be better for me.

A ruff guess would give me a good starting point.

I would start with 720 semi blades.
You don't need a lot of headspeed so i would plan for around 1700 to 1800.
You can leave off a lot of small parts to save weight.

My guess and it is only a guess is that you should have no problem with an all up weight of about 20+ lbs.

All up 20 lbs and the unit weight is about ten and if I can shave off 10 to 15% I would be good to start at 10 lbs lift.

I will also need taller landing skids were can I get some not too tall.

This info would help us help you.

When I said "all up weight of about 20+ lbs." I was referring to the heli plus payload combined, not just the payload weight.

Yes I get what you were saying full up heli and payload is 20 ldbs I got it!!!!


I will be what you call crop dustin but really it's chemical spraying to stop trees from groing in hydro lines and taking over.


here is a photo of the real thing, my partner operates a large fleet of these.


Sorry check in my gallery there a picture there of a jet ranger landing on tank truck and heli is equiped wwith spray gear.

I've lifted around 7lbs with mine. I had a drop box kind of set up where I could release a little at a time. 680 Symmetrical blades at 1780 for the head speed. It felt REALLY heavy.

It must be mounted solid. I had a terrible pendulam effect going on 5' from the ground. I cranked up the AP2000i stabilizer to pull out of it. Excessive liquid weight would not be easy to control unless its built like a fuel cell with foam inside.

Once I dropped or spread the load I wasnt ready for the quick increase in altitude.
