However you label it in the end its a 6Cell setup. the picture you refer to is just the wires all bunched up on that side that looks funny.

You labeled it 6S2P....that would entail 12 cells...becuase of the 2P..if you are only using 2 3 cell packs then it is 6S1P...big difference in # of cells and amperage capability.
