Hey alan. I saw your 222 at vegas. Thats why im thinking of getting one. I saw only the 30 size online. Its obvious that the 60 would be better. When they say an ARF with mechanic and retracts. Does that mean the fusealage is painted but the heli needs to be put together? Im confused. I want the heli to be painted already and i want to build the heli.
Is this possible?
Are you sponsored by century?
That pic looks sweet! Was it painted by century?

Century Bell 222

Hi Chad,
I have the 30 size ARF and love it.
To save a lot of others a lot of typing I would suggest that you check out the "scale helicopters forum" listed on this site.
There you will be able to read all the great comments on it by other owners.

Sweet Bell 222 Alan!!

That bell 222 sure looks nice... so many fuselages, so little time... this one sure looks like its worth it.

On the subject of Bell 222

The Bell 222 w/ retracts and mechanics is an unpainted fuselage and unassembled.

The Bell 222 ARF w/ mechanics and retracts is the one that is partially assembled and painted.

Hope i was of some help.

Bell 222

Sorry I was so slow on replying to your questions. Yes this one is a pre painted funky fuselage. All you do is put your mechanics in and screw the lid and landing gear pods on. You need to wrap it in plastic to protect the finish while handling it.

I have an opportunity to get a bell 222 fuse real cheap and would like to know how you go about fitting the mechanics to it. Does each fuse only fit a certain set of mechanics? Is it trial and error? Where's a good place on the web to learn about building scale?
