ok heres the skinny 10 min ago I had to run to the liquor store for my favorite 40 degree foamy drink and drove up to a yard sale put on by a few landlords of some guys who moved away to maine.... anyways I found this heli in the shed.... the lady sold it to me for ten bucks! is this a gohbee? it has jing shi on the frame hell im wondering 30 or 50 here? HOT DAMN! its brand new!

it's a Gohbee. Can you take a picture of the main gear / drive hub? We can look at this and tell if you've got a 30 or 50. The 30 size machines do not come stock with a constant tail drive hub. In looking at the tail grips this machine is pre-November 2006. The new machines have a thrust bearing in the tail grips. Should make you a good machine! Great find!

Those are most likely a set of 600mm fiberglass blades.....a really early version of our blades.....more than likely it's a 50 size machine. We only sold a few of these in the 550mm length before we changed over to a newer improved version.

Looks like the Ghobee stinger, or maybe the eariler Stilletto. Pretty much the same heli. The blades look like Ghobees own brand.
I flew these for a while and they are really good helis.
And i recon for ten bucks, youve got be happy with that!

The main gear appears to be black from the picture that is second from the left on the top row.

sweet I could have sworn the tailboom looked a bit longer than my buddys raptor30.... the main blades kinda look short on it compared to my old raptor 50 where I was worried about main to tail blade clearance issues... maybe someone could work a few numbers how long are the following items in inches

main blades
tail boom

on another not these gohbees are built very nicely I have notice alot of attention to detail! the head is sweet I always hated the flybars above the mains!

The main blades should measure approx 600mm or 23.622" from the center of the bolt hole to the blade tip. The 50 size stock boom should be about 640mm or 25.197" end to end.

The owner could have upgraded the machine and put a constant tail drive unit on it. What did you measure? How about the main gear and pinion tooth count? If the main gear and pinion are 86T/9T, it's definately a 30. If the main gear and pinion are 85T/10T then it's a 50.
