I have this gyro in a Hurricane 550 and set it up in NORMAL (RATE) mode, on switching to Tail lock mode the servo will not return to neutral after deflection in any direction.
Luckily I tried it on the ground

Using Spektrum DX7 radio with 7000 RX
TX Settings: input select Gyro to AUX2
Gyro Sense Rate mode(0) is 35%
Tail Lock (1)is 52% or higher

All the trimming flights and settings were done in Rate mode as per the instruction book and test hovers in that mode were good

Now when I want to fly in Tail Lock mode the tail rotor stays where ever it is deflected too. Yes I have tried flicking the mode switch(rudder Dual rate on the Spektrum DX7)but the neutral setting just seems to be NOT there, In Rate mode it always returns to neutral

Do I have a faulty Gyro or am I missing something in my set up.

Urgently need help, PLEASE

Workin fine by the sounds of it.
In heading hold mode, on the ground, the servo will not return to where it started.
It will work fine in the air.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that

In lock mode its not supposed to return to nuetral.. It stays where you put it and locks to the position you move your stick thats the whole point of lock mode. Once you get used to this you will not even go back to standard mode where it returns to center.
