| I would stick with the 680 if you can find them, but no more than the 690.
The BME 90 Gas has about the same power as an OS70, anything bigger than the 690 will be hard on the engine.
If cost of blades is the issue Gohbee does have some composite blades at a very good price, a little more than wood but a lot less than carbon. They also have performance somewhere in between.
