what servo would be best used on the rudder ?
im going to run 401 but not sure whether to use the s9254 that comes with it or something else?

does the 9254 fit in the mount ?

I assume this is the new 450 size heli...

If so, the 9254 is way too big and would not be recommended by most. Better off to get the 401 without a servo and use 9650 or 9257.

Thanks for the manual. I had to build mine before the manual was ready.

The only part you should keep your eyes on is the tail slider 42-1417. Unlike other helis where the ball is separate, this heli uses a single machined part. It is made of aluminum so the ball will wear and develop slop. So, have the spare part ready.

We are using LogicTech 2100T with Futaba 9650 at the moment. We are waiting for the LogicTech matched micro servo for the tail. Korean test pilots have swithed from 9650 to this one. Hitec version of the rebadged LogicTech gyro/servo combo shoud work well too.

As for the cyclic 65hb or 65mg.

For the power we are using NeuMotors 1107/1.5y 3850kv with 12T pinion. After the flight, the temp is no more than 10deg higher than ambient.

Nothin new there! The Align slider has a separate steel ball and it develops plenty of slop!

One side of the ball becomes flat from wear. This happens within 50-70 flights and that is much shorter than steel balls.
