Now that I have your attention: I need to twist the fuel inlet nipple on my Walbro carb to clear the frame. When I try to twist it, it won't budge. It feels like it's going to snap off. How can I reposition it?

Rather than twisting I prefer to put a little bit of spit on them for a bit of lubrication. Then I use a little rolling motion between thumb and index finger.
