Guys I had the QUK base loaded antenna already installed in my RX. I never had any issues so I really like this antenna and I am gonna keep it in my 600N as well.

Now if I'll mount the antenna facing forward the tip touches the canopy. So I install it facing backward's. I mount the antenna using one of the bolts that are holding the tail boom mount and the tip looks backwards.

I have two questions:

1. Does it matter that the antenna mount is in direct contact with the carbon frame? Is it possible this to cause any interference?

2. Does it matter that the antenna is parallel with the boom? Is that making any kind of coil?

Though I now fly Spektrum, I used base loaded antennas previously and always used a nylon servo horn to mount away from metal and carbon fiber.

Thanks mate. Do you think it does matter that is in paralel with the tail boom?
