i am new to heli's, i just got the raptor 30 and was wondering if anyone can help me out, i hear the gyro and the servo that the gyro runs is one of the most important things. What is a good gyro and servo for a futaba radio for a starter like me.....hehe

Thanx for any help anyone can give

Try the gy401/s9253 gyro for about $299. It is supposed to be one of the best. This one comes with the digital servo you will probably need.

Gyro's

I don't think that you have to go to the best there is, but don't go to an old mechanical either. When and if you get into 3D you will probably want a Heading Hold unit or even earlier. I'm learning with a regular piezo, you just have to figure out you revo mixing for it but other than that it is plug and play.

Thanks Scott S.
