One time I so one Synergy Crashing in Rick’s Fun Fly, not a big crash but the heli was destroyed almost complete, probably a 500 USD fix!!

In my case I will go for the second 600N, it is nice to shear parts…..

You will always improve faster if you fly one ship. When you get bored and feel like you are flying to the limits of the ship, that's when it's time to get a 90. Unless of course you just want one, then just get it.

Go the 90 its good to take the 50 and the 90 to the feild and fly one after the other makes you appreciate how much nicer a 90 is to fly, i have a stratus and it is nice to fly after the 600N

Personally I would go with the N9. I have seen 2 600 crashes and both times the heli destroyed itself and some of the electronics/engine. Both were $400+ so don't let crash costs sway your decision. The 90 will have more power, more presence, and flow through the manuevers better than any 50 out there.

fwiw..

Had lots of 90 machines...A good 50 will outfly them easily, if you lke snappy maneuvers..They do fly "Bigger", but to me aren't as much fun...

Everyone wants different things. I had two 50's for a year and a half and those were some of my best "progression" flying seasons to date. Once I felt comfortable in that I wouldn't be crashing more than once or twice a season, I switched over to 90 flying and have not looked back. I just prefer the feel of the 90's over the 50's, the auto capabilities are better, their size is easier to see at a distance and they DEFINITELY handle windy conditions better.

i would say go with the synergy, i have both, and even though the 600n flies great the synergy flies even better in my opinion.

Having a second of the same type makes keeping spares on hand less painful.

I've had an N9, now I have a t-rex nitro. Fun factor t-rex wins. After all this is a hobby and should be fun. As far as t-rex costing more than an N9 after a crash, rubbish. Have a read through the N9 forum before spending anything. My N9 crashed before it took off, the skids cracked and the thing fell over, I only nad 4 degrees of negative set in my radio.
