I just got my new MP5 today, and I was wondering if anyone has compared them on THE SAME ENGINE.

Looking for opinions here. And what I should expect tomorrow when I run it for the first time.... needle settings, ect....

I hate to be the barrer of bad news. Most of the guys out here in SoCal have gone away from the MP5. I just tried the new Align pipe on an OS and it's much better. I could not seem to find the sweet spot with the MP5. It dialed right in with the Align pipe.

Tons of power with virtually no bog. And I think it looks alot better than the MP5. Not that it really matters.

The Mp5,522,Align is a good pipe...for the OS
Mp2, Hatori 522, Align pipe are good for YS

That's not bad news. That's exactly the kind of info that I'm looking for. I want to know what to expect, how to adjust, ect. And if I don't like it, or can't get it tuned before the Brooks FF, then I'll put the Align pipe back on.

I'm just checking some different combos to see what I like...
