| Thanks guys, those of you that have them know what I'm on about - those that don't have theirs yet soon will. I need to get a good scale and weigh the R50 vs. the 600N. They may be close in weight - I'm not sure but I can tell you that the 600 feels MUCH lighter in the air.
Even with the Kasama head the R50 seems to have some phasing issues to be fair and with it I have to correct quite heavily (with Aileron) during say tic-toc's whereas with the 600N it goes where it's told with very few corrections required. It makes me LOOK like a better pilot I think and I am also running 1.5 deg more collective pitch on the 600 too which means the pops and stops are pretty scary quick.
I had to quicken my reflexes to keep up with the 600 to be honest. I was behind the heli at first but now I love it. What fun! I can see this becoming the heli I fly most often very quickly. I really enjoy all my helis for different reasons but I mostly like to just fly hard and not worry too much about the cost if I deck it. The 600 allows this without sacrificing in the performance department.
Glad I got 2 of them, I'd be gutted if I crashed one and didn't have another to pick up and fly.
BTW - this is the first MultiGov I have tried and not only is it dead easy to setup it holds the headspeed better than any other governor I've flown. The 9451 I have on the throttle easily keeps up with the 9351's on the swash.
