| Easier way to test correct gyro responseWith the Eco 8 you can easily test your gyro for proper rotation by powering up the heli and waiting for the red led to light on the 401. Now, pick it up and holding it in your hands with the nose facing left and tail facing right pull the chopper towards your body and watch the tail pitch slider. The slider should move away when pulling the heli in towards your body. The opposite should happen if you push it away, the tail pitch slider should come towards you. If it's backwards then reverse gyro switch. Now, once that's done check for correct rudder input. Pushing the rudder stick to the right while standing behind your Eco 8 the pitch slider should move to the left and vs. versa for left stick input. If you do these tests and all works correctly but it still won't hold the tail then your tail blade grips are reversed. Just switch them around so that they are on leading edge side of the tail blades. Now, if it still won't hold the tail you either don't have enough hold setup in your radio or possibly the gyro is bad. I strongly doubt that the gyro could be bad since they are extremely reliable.
Good Luck!
