Hi there,

Just got my King 2 and I must say this is a very nice helicopter and it is also my first one. The problem I'm having is the gyro is not turning green just solid red. Thanks in advance

Gyro Initializing

Zake,
Check to see if the trim tabs are centered when you plug the battery into the speed controller. I have a HBK2 with stock controllers etc., and I had to trim the rudder controls and if I did not center them before the next battery, the gyro would just turn red or blink red instead of turning green and the tail rotors would not react to inputs. Also make sure that it's plugged in correctly to the receiver. But it's probably the trim tabs. Try that and see what happens.
Take Care!

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I guess the manual was wrong regarding the green light on the gyro. It initiates with a solid red light.

Thanks again
