I just got through configuring my Ion X2 as Fredrik recommends and all I can say is WOW!!!! This is my third Ion, and the best flying by far. The QUK metal grips make a big difference over the plastic Xcel stock grips. Using a dedicated swash driver, such as the Mikado unit is highly recommended as it gives you clearance to use shorter balls on the swashplate. The geometry is now such that I don't need to go closer than the stock position on the servo wheel balls. She flies rock solid, yet nimble as I want her to be.

That is so good to hear!! I have a V-bar and some QUK grips at the house waiting for me to get home. It should make for some kick arse flying this summer!!

Yup, I got a whole box full of paddles....

Anyone wanna buy some 95 VPaddles, let me know

Simply put, I wont run another large heli with paddles except for testing purposes.

Thank you.

I am not sure how many others have done one of these spectacular machines, but I just want to thank you for all the leg work you have done. I love mine and I think it is the greatest thing I have flown yet. I love it. Thank you again!!

flybarless Xion-2 video

Anyone else having trouble viewing this flybarless Xion-2 video? All I see is moving/flashing graphics design images on my media player. It says it's playing a song on the media player.

Video!

Second flight today, mostly trying some settings and trying to get a feel for the heli.

Head V3 is good, however, will try metal grips next.
