Would you care to share with us the issues? I have a NIB Stratus that I am wanting to build flybarless from the get. I also have a 720 not being used at the moment so this is a very cost effective option for me.

He got strange results for piro moves, "inbetween" aileron and elevator it required more input then a pure input, resulting very odd when you did something that required a stirring movement (piroflips) where you actually had to move the stick in a box rather then round.

When contacting CSM about it, got the answer, its not possible to do anything about it since its not one intergrated "all-in-one-box" unit, and he didnt want to go that route since the cost would go up.

Ive talked to numerous csm-flybarless pilots including some pro's and non have come up with a workaround.

if its your only heli or if you run same system on all, its probably something you can live with, but to mix.. no fun.

Vbar dont have this issue since its all in one unit.

Perhaps its fixable, but we couldnt solve it.

Very interesting... Thank you for that. Please do share your findings on the V-Stabi on your Stratus though.

hello there!

Yes MrMel is right, he explained the little issue i had with it perfectly. Its not an issue thou, it just feels little different around the cornes. If you have alot of other machines with flybars it takes some time to get used to the feeling, and when you then switched back and forth on the machines the timing was off. So i decided to not use it. But the power and manuvrability was awsome, so i still want to have flybarless! I think the little issue could be fixec if CSM just did a interface witch combined the 2 gyros, I guess it cant be that hard to get the feeling right. :-)

If you not do alot of pirro manuvres i guess you want notice the little different feel in the corners. And like I said you have tons of power, so its pretty cool anyway!
