Are the radix 600 blade a worth while upgrade for the 3DMP E ?

Tye Radix blades are like the Rototechs and I would have to say they are PRIMO! You will like them. I don't know how they compare to the NHP's but I do know they are quiet, fast, and make they heli "pop". Try em!.....Ron

Ive heard good reports about the new TST V Blades, the ones with the rough surface.
Why not give them a go?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that

tst are a lot better than radix in my opinion

snappier , quicker and more efficient

I like Radix better than NHPs

I changed from the NHPs to V-Blades (previous generation, not TST) and then to Radix. Of the three, the Radix are by far the best. While the NHPs and the old V-Blades did have their strengths and weaknesses, the Radix do everything better. I am actually keeping some Radix blades in stock, so if I crash I don't have to go back to something else.

I would love to test the new V-Blades in comparison, but haven't ordered them yet. They are expensive, and not as popular over here (in Germany).

The one thing I don't like about the Radix and the NHPs is the high tolerance. I have seen differences of more than 1 gram between the "matched" blades in a Radix set, and I have had NHPs where the static tracking was off by almost 5 millimeters. The V-Blades, in comparison, seem to have lower tolerances.

Many thanks for all the replys, I'm drawn to the Radix over the new TST's due to price and looks, I've been reading other threads on the TST's and theres a lot of hype about them, like you Spam I think I'll wait for things to cool down a little and try the Radix for now!
BTW if I was sent blades that were 1 gram out they would be returned to the dealer!! Up to now I've only used NHP's and they have always been spot on in weight and balance, maybe I've been lucky?

Just an update on the Radix 600’s on my 3DMP, Just confirms what was said above that they are very good!!
Right from the beginning at 48% throttle I could feel the difference straight away, the heli just seemed to hang there in the hover.
Increasing the throttle % in stages up to the 70% mark brought a smile to my face.

I bought two pairs from CyberHeli.com saving a considerable amount of money, taking less than a week from email to the knock on the door!
According to my scales neither pair were more than .1 of a gram out to each other and the CG was spot on.

The iceing on the cake has to be that not only do thet look good but sound good too
