just wondering which esc are you guys using with the ikarus H8 motor. the first version motor that is small and short, not the new kind that look like the axi type. the kind that has the silver band in the middle.

what esc are you all using and how many amp are you using with it.

Run my Eco with the original H8 motor. I use a Kontronic Jazz 40 6-18 running on a 4s pack of flightpower 3700mAh. Current draw is around 18A with 2000 head speed and I get a comfortable 7 mins of fast flight with aeros......bigggg loops and long rolls. The Kontronic is a bit of an overkill but dead reliable and the head speed is pegged solid.

Did you mean the brand is overkill, because 40 - 45 amp sound just about right for the eco 8.

I run a Jeti Spin 44 with mine but use the AXI motor which by the way is exactly the same as the H8 motor.
