I do not like the nut solution as it does not give the radial stress away. Even the two radials and no thrust race is a better solution as the axial stress is infinely smaller than the radial.

The nut solution simply takes stress away from the head of the bolt to keep it from snapping due to vibration - true it doesn't relieve any radial stress - but it is a good stop-gap to keep the bolt from breaking until the new hub is available. Its working for me so far.
