I too am anxious to see this fly. I have had the priveledge of seeing the real thing flying up close when I was on UH-1's in the Army. I did not appreciate them as much as I do now, and I have definately been bitten by the chinook bug (even though I have yet to fly mine successfully)! Nice work on your craft. That is the Vario? I wonder if that can be adapted for a turbine motor......Hmmm.....

We are still in the testing fase. It's not the Vario, this one is a 'little' bigger. We build this monster from scratch scale 1:7.5. The fuselage is 2100mm long. With the blades on it we have a length of 4000mm.

We use a Husavarna chainsaw (86cc), adapting to turbine would not be a problem (beside the costs )
