I was just rewiring my starter and am wondering

ummmm which way should it spin looking down on it as it is used on a raptor?

I have a dumb question!

Both my helis Main Rotors spin CW, or right hand.........hence the starter spinning CCW.

On helis with Mains that spin CCW, is the starter direction reversed, or is it something in the gearing of the heli or motor position that allows this?

Basically, do all helis start with a CCW starter?

Aheam....
Hold the starter up, cup towards your face and it should spin CW. Point the starter at your feet with the cup downwards and it should spin CCW.
