Hi There,

I'm a rooky to the pages so please treat me carefully!!

I'd like to convert an X-Cell 1003 CT to have a Zenoah Engine and would like to know if anyone can help me. Is there a conversion kit available from X-Cell for this? Has anyone converted an X-Cell to run from a Zenoah (or similar gas engine)?

Hoping you can help.

MA did have a conversion kit at one stage. If it still exists it will be listed in the catalogue on their web site www.x-cellrchelicopters.com

You will likely find the the price is almost as much as buying a new kit.

Update: I went to the site and couldn't find a converion. The gasser (1005) appears similar in spec to the ST (1001), except for the carbon frames and fiberglass canopy. Most of the CT upgrade parts should fit, you may have to change the main gear to get the right gearing.
