BBC weather forecast on their homepage is saying that friday will have showers, but sat sunday will have sunny intervals and the rain sattelite on their site looks like Northampton will miss the most of it.

I'm off tommorrow to get there for beginning of play.

the bbc's forecast is famous for being completely wrong. i have always used metcheck up here and it's usually been spot on. just not sure about down that way.

time is getting close for deciding so need to hurry up and make mind up.

cheers

It would seem that you want to hear something like this:-

I would'nt go as it will probably rain and you would just be wasting your time going to one of the best 3d shows in the land.

Stay at home you'll have a much better time.

Then again if it only rains a bit, you might miss some great flying and some good lectures

You were probably right to stay away, the friday was a washout and Saturday morning not much better, at Dinner time I was contemplating going home myself.

The field was very muddy, and that just got worse as the day went on. But after dinner it was fine with a few showers, and Sunday was pretty good all round. So with a 800 mile round trip and hotel bills I would have felt a bit cheesed myself.

I did enjoy the weekend but parts were very depressing. It was great to see some old friends and have a beer with them as it rained, but if that wasn't possible for you it wold have been a long weekend.

Hope you got some flying in though
