Aerobatic 3D Contest > 3DM butt parking - where's your favorite spot ?

As the main event of the year draws ever closer, where is your preferred spot for parking your butt ?
Mine's just at the end of the pits, giving sufficient proximity to the knee trembling pilots as they exit to twiddle their sticks and clench their butts.

I like sitting at the start-box area, good view of the pits, startups and the flights.

See you all there

The weather is depressing me, i don't want this to turn into a muddy Glastonbury. I imagine it will be a bugger to get up the hill from the main field if it's slippery, we could be stuck there for days

Siteplan for parking etc. btw here: http://www.3dmasters.org.uk/site%20plan.pdf

And do not forget bringing lots of suncream with you ;-)

From: http://www.3dmasters.org.uk/

"News Flash – Sun Crème Shock Horror

The Northampton local newspaper carries a report that supplies of Sun Oil and Sunblock are completely exhausted in and around Northampton.
The Manager of the local branch of Boops, a nationwide pharmacy said “ this happens every year at 3D Masters time, we always run out of skin care products due to huge demand from 3D fans. This year we ordered extra supplies, but still we have sold out. Our advice to anyone travelling to 3D Masters is to bring their Sun Treatment products with them. We have also warned the local hospitals to expect many cases of Sunstroke”

YOU HAVE BEEN WARMED"

I wouldn't worry to much about suncream.

'Umbrella's'

will be the only thing that will 'score' point's.

Brolly's will be 'judged' on there 'BLING' Factor

After looking at those two forecasts, I vote for the event to be moved to Las Vegas at short notice, with all of our tickets guaranteeing entry and flights over there

Yug, I don't generally trust www.weather.co.uk but sometimes they do get it right. And I would be seriously pissed if they did simple because this will be the first time I'm going!!!!

Are the foldable chairs available on site? I might have to take my umbrella and wellingtons then

I don't mean to be funny, but women doing that is fine. Two men should never share umbrellas under any conditions Unwritten law that is . .

Weather

Lads this is my 4th visit to 3DMasters,the most disapointing thing about the weather is, we have alot of first time visiters coming from Ireland to the event and i hope they get to see the AWESOME flying of not just the Masters but the Sportsmen who are amazing flyers and fair Balls to you Lads i couldn't do it myself, but the after show.To see Bob Johnson performing Auto's in every form is mind blowing and not to mention Curtis TRIMMING trees they have sacked the local forrester because they heard Curtis is coming back.

Any way look forward to a great event HAIL RAIN OR CURTIS
