Hello guys,
My 3DX500 is vibrating quite a bit when my throttle gets over 50% aproximately. What could be the cause. I have both main blades balanced and the head seems to be alright. Where can I begin to look for the fault? Since I have just finished it I hovered it a bit yesterday limiting the throttle to 50% and had no problems now that I did not use the limiter, it gets scary wobbly...

I would really appreciate any comments and suggestions as to where to start on the problem.

Check your main shaft and spindle shaft to see if they are bent.

Hi Steve,
It turns out that I had not balanced the tail blades that I ordered from you guys (carbon 68mm). Yesterday night I balanced those and this morning the heli hovered really smooth. As I did this in the morning before going to work I really had not much time, but I guess that solved my vibration problems, I will check more thoroughly this afternoon.

One question though, can the shaft and spindle bend without a crash?

Homero,

You never know what happens to it. It is rare to get the bent shafts before flying but it could happen such as damage during shipping. So if you get vibrations, those are first you want to check.
