Hi Alan

What head speed does Alan (JR) run on the R30 and 50 as I would have thought this is one of the biggest contributing factors?

I hear you might make it over to the 3D Masters this year, would be great to see you.

yes the red ones are the hardest, but thats all i can tell you.

its all book learnt for me at the moment cos its not availiable over here.

How can a metal head prevent a boomstrike???

Everyone tells you to lube the spindle, but if you donīt use the right product, the rubber is gonna go soft, and you will have the problems.
The only thing I have upgraded are the blade grips, and every 200 flights I change my rubber dampers, but I never lube them, and have never had any problems.

Head Speed

Yes Bob were planning on making it over to your neck of the woods. Alan Jr runs a head speed of 1780 to 1810 for 3D on both the 30 V2 and the 50 V2. Still just using the stock dampner. He hasnt tried the red or yellow ones yet.

Hi Alan

I suprised the head speed is that low on the R30, I have only see Allan (JR) fly on the IRCHA DVD with a R60 so I don't know what sort of flying he does with the 30 model, does he not find it a little pitchy in FFF or does he not worry too much about max forward speed.
Did he run the V1 Raptor 30/50 at this head speed also?

Look forward to seeing you, I think the Masters is going to be a huge event this year.
