Hi red_z06,

Forgive me if I am hijacking.

I have just upgraded to Guai's 75amp ESC, got the new EVO25 2500mah 11.1v (x2)and also the Guai's 500mm CF blade. I experienced power cut while doing tic toc and crashed within the 3rd minutes of flight time. Mild 3d was fine. I am not sure why. I am not a electric/electronic gig.

All other stuff are stocks such as the motor and gears. Please advise.

Are you using 15T pinion? When I tested with 2400mah packs, the flight time was about 3min. We are currently using 14T pinion and 3300mah pack for about 4 to 4 1/2 min flight time. I would suggest you go with 13T pinion if you run a small battery.

Hi red_z06,

I am going to test 1500w Gaui's motor with Gaui's 75amp ESC this weekend. Also going to upgrade the 42th to the 61th main gear. Of coz some mod needed to be carried out in order to replace the 42th with 61th gear. Motor pinion will be 14th with EVO25 2500 mah. I will be using Guai's 500mm CF blade. Hope all will turns out well.

I will be getting the new 1000w 1100kv motor this weekend from ready Heli. will let you know how it works as well, it should be a step below the 1500 and stock. I am also using the Evo 2500 packs

Hi,

I manage to tached the headspeed upon lift off with 1500w motor with Gaui's 75amp ESC. Also upgraded to 61th gear which replaced the 42th gear and 500mm CF blade. Wow......massive 2400 rpm. I just love it. Stock setup motor tached 1950 rpm upon lift off with 500mm CF blade.

Will the motor overspeed and cause over amp when using the Guai's 1100KV motor with 42T at secondary? I am not an electric gig.

There are two gaui motors. We have the tan anodized 1500w and there are sliver and red.

With tan motor, we initially ran it with 15T with 2700 head speed.
14T gives us 4:20 with 2600 head speed with 515mm rototech and 2x tp 3s3300. If you are using 2500mah packs, use 13T with 500mm blade.

H550 comes with 15T pinion. I believe that setup was for 890kv 1000w motor.

my kit came with the 890kv and a 14t pinion. I was expecting the 15t so i orderd s 14 and got a supprize when I pulled my motor.
