Flybarless Rotor Head Systems > Vario Silence - Flybarless conversion

Hello,

I own a Vario Silence with a regular head (NOT flybarless).
The head is similar to a SkyFox.
Blades are Jawo 660mm.

I would like to convert it flybarless.

Apparently, I should use this head:

My question is: can I simply remove the flybar, and bell/hiller mixer from the regular head and run it flybarless this way ?

Thanks,
Fabien

I'm not familar with the Vario Silence head, but there are a few of us who have done just what you have described. Removed the flybar, Bell Hiller mixer and a few other parts to make our own flybarless head.

If you do a search on the word "flybarless" in this forum, or any other heli forum, you will get quite a bit of information. Here is one thread that's worth the read if you are looking into converting your own. http://www.heli-freak.com/viewtopic...ight=flybarless

NOTE: Remove the dash between the words "heli" and "freak", otherwise you won't be directed to the right page.
