Just got my 600N Pro and haven't flown it yet but was wondering if those who have extensive flight experience with it can give their recommendations regarding upgrades (available now and those needed) and the order of priority.

I added a header tank. That's about it. I'll add metal main blade grips next crash. Otherwise this is one solid 50.

Let your flying do the talking - don't talk about your flying

I have added a header tank.
I purchased the 3DX fan. It is sweat, but I haven't installed it yet.

I'd rather be flying

1) Sensor, mount in on the OUTSIDE of the frame, as per aerospire set up. www.aerospire.com, then at the top, click 600N sensor placement.

2) Clutch liner replacement to Raptor 90 HD liner. Optional, but most have done it, I havent, and have had no problems with the stock liner.

3) Header tank.....some have done it, some havent, its up to you on this, as for sercurity. Again, stock set up is fine. Hardcore 3D, and it dont know it dont have a header tank.

Upgrades in my opinion would be to the components added.. the better the gear in your setup, the better it will fly... the platform is capable of almost anything as long as the components can keep up... If going up to 2100rpm, then get the metal grips... if running a governer, consider the 3dx fan... other than that you are pretty much set...

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

I will defiantly buy some Header Tanks; I was used to use header tanks..
When my 2 600N were new I hade 4 emergency autos because the engine quit with1/8 of gas.

Today I was flipping at deck level and my engine quit with ¼ of gas, I landed with no problem, but that was enough for me….. I will buy them…

1/ Check and change clutch liner if necessary whilst building

2/ Fit a Fuel magnet or use a header tank

3/ Metal boom clamp..about £5

4/ Dampners (depending on flying ability) Shim the standard black 80% item with a pair of MA shims to aid longevity

6/ Anything else is eye candy

Upgrade so far

- Fuel Magnet instead of clunk, My crude form of 3D was able to throw the clunk out of fuel more than I wanted.
- I have a fan but after the last fix, the magnets have not come back out of the stocker, try as I may.

Upgrade that will be performed first failure or crash.
- Metal seesaw (I think this will be wear point IMO)
- Metal mixing levers (no reason other than I want them)
- Metal washout arms (no reason other than I want them)

Upgrades that I will get once released
- Dampners (this is a must for anyone tossing this heli around so someone please make them quickly)

Great flying model, excellent flight characteristics, and overall good deal. Very few nitpicks and complaints.

I upgraded:
metal mixing arms
metal blade grips- a must have in my opinion
V-Blade paddles (not a necessity)
CF tail boom(again..not a must, just for looks and a lil stronger)
metal boom support clamp
custom heli parts CF servo arms
metal pitch,elevator and aileron arms
metal seesaw

IMO the only thing you really SHOULD get are the metal grips and maybe the mixing arms...and a mid-air refueling boom so you never have to stop flying to refuel....but I dont see that on Aligns website yet
