I just got my 600n back together after a relatively minor crash last week. Took it out to the field. Fired it right up and noticed the tail acting "funny". Upon closer inspection I found the gyro amp/display screen is dead. I am very disappointed that it died this easily. I'm going to try and mount in differently in hopes that it will be better protected. Has anyone else had this problem? I never had this problem with my 401's. Maybe I'll just go back to that on my nitro.

You know. As nice as that electronics section bolts in, it would be child's play to turn it into an electronics strong box. Heck you could just about hollow out the provided plastic and add some sides, or simply cut off the front section and bolt on one of the readily available boxes to the left over backplate.

Sorry bout the loss man. Sucks when crashes take out the good stuff. I don't think the 611 is known to be fragile, but the amp isn't made to take a pounding.
