Neither, haven't used a gasket or anything for nearly a decade now. You don't need it, tighten the bolts and fly. Gaskets eventually tear and leak, RTV gets in the engine and kills the plug. Nothing on there works just as well, without the drawbacks.

I actually use a very thin layer of permatex ultra black gasket maker and it works amazingly well... I highly recommend it if you want to use a gasket of some kind... no gasket works fine as well tho, IMO...

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....
