Align T-REX 600N 700N > rod length pg.8

The first kit I recieved had the CD for a manual,on pg8 the rod from the flybar cage to the washout length is 38mm. The second kit I got has the paper manual and the same rod length is 39.5mm. I personally went with the length that worked to make everything level and just used the manual lengths as a starting point. What is everyone else using and which one is correct?

I don't know which is correct, as I'm not sitting around measuring, but I can tell you that in my original kit I built it with the recommended lengths for everything. They were all close, but needed tweaking by a few mm one way or the other. 39.5m could very well be dead on if the CD manual I built my kit from lists 38mm.

I would say go with the newest numbers... if you really wanted to find out, call up align USA...

no, his opinion agrees with mine, he said he had to tweak the lengths given on the CD, mine from the printed manual are spot on....

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

I got mine from a batch of 100 that arrived at the beginning of this week and my manual says 37mm?!?

I also got frames with the hole inside... align back doing the hole again? lol

Here's a post forum another forum that cover the lengths. I have one of the first kits without the paper manual. The included manual (on CD) stated linkage lengths of 58.5mm for the link from the swash to the bell crank and 38mm for the wahout. I built mine using these lengths and the swash hits the bearing blocks at full negative + full back elevator. I'm going to readjust using the lengths outline in the picture.

i got my t-rex from the first batch with a cd and my rod leanths were wrong my swash also hit the bearing block on full neg so i adjusted mine to get zero deg at centre stick and that gav e me plus or minus 14 so i left it at that not sure what rod leanths were but it flys great
