I agree with Paul. Great judging too! Nice to see 3D pilots as judges too!

I have watched a lot of the flying and most of the pilots only have a few maneuvers. After watching about half way threw their flights the rest of the flight was the same thing over and over and over. That does not show me skill but only a pilot that practices one or two maneuvers.

I think the more maneuvers a pilot can do and pull them off good is a great pilot.

Keep up the great flying everyone.

Same ol'

I really have to say it sure is refreshing to me to see more variables on the chaos / piro flips. I know a couple of pilots that are not able to actually fly around, but they can do that. I'm sure there is no way they would be able to fly around doing it like these guys can, and especially do a reversal (D.Jetschin) To me that is not just moving sticks, that is control and thinking.

if you see the pilot running....try to keep up!

Videos.

I haven't seen the videos, but I have seen some videos that are too close (too much zoom.) It looks like the heli is just piroing. Actually the heli is piroing through a perfect vertical eight. When the camera person thinks they need to get the huge heli in the middle of the screen you can't get the effect. You need to be able to see the heli in perspective as it traces though the sky. That is what makes it kewl.

Repetition is something that gets downgraded. For guys that want to piroflip all day long in front of themselves, Yousa not gonna getsa da scorsa.
