As far as music choice, jason Krause wins hands down with megadeth, sweating bullets
as for flying Daniel wins hands down, he simply amazes me. I have no clue how he can do those reversals, not putting down alans flying but it just doesnt seem up to par with Daniel.

i agree i think all of those videos were pretty lame and were just plain jane if you ask me...last year the xfc rocked with some awesome flights.
this year they just didnt seem to really put there minds or flight skills into the music, it was like they were just goofing around. most of them didnt flow with the music and even just plain out right stop to do something else,it was like they were making it up as they go. all of these guy really rock the hell out of these helis but man it was lame. there videos of these guys at funfly were better and harder then these.....
Daniel had the best technical flight out of them all,but that music ahhhhhh......
im sure bobby watts rocked the place theres no stopping him...where's his video???????

For alot of these flights the wind was blowing in our faces. Alan's flights looked amazing in person and the video does no justice to it. You have to be there to appreciate how hard it is.

I gotta agree with bparro here. Give these guys a break! Flying to music in front of TONS of people (including your peers) and having to work in some pretty darn hard required maneuvers is not a walk in the park. Showing up at a FF and just laying down your most wicked stuff is relatively easy in comparison.
According to two competitors this weekend, Alan's known flights were amazing. The video we've all seen is of his unknown.

loved Danile Jetchin flight..watched it about 5 times..so controlled and smooth..wicked i didnt see a video of bobbys flight hes coming to the 3d masters aint he..(great) nice competition regards craig simmons
I agree that judging these guys may be a bit premature, especially from these videos being there only a snap shot in time. I have been watching pretty much every flight live from RC groups, and I must say these few videos don't do them much justice. Bobby Watts has been putting it down, and I wouldn't be surprised if he won this outright.
For that matter Daniel K, and Scott Gray can't be ruled out either. I mean Scott is the defending champ, and would have been doing tons better if he wouldn't have lawn darted in the first flight. Now that the shoot out is around the corner (Postponed due to lighting) we shall see who comes out on top.
Hopefully tonight we'll have some good footage (or at least more) to see. Then we can all eewww and ahhh over it..lol btw Daniel K has put on some sick runs this maybe his to win... Watching him over the last two days you can really see his program gaining momentum.
Good job man. It's tough raising kids these days. Congrats again.

A man who put his family ahead of his work and the coverage of the XFC. Now that is a man I can respect.
Congrats to your daughter. Enjoy your time with her.
