Engine vibs are a high frequency buzzing...rotor & tail related issues are shakes and wobbles..dampning even

One quick possible is did you leave a little amount of endfloat for the torque tube as they don't like to be compressed if you know what I mean...i.e back the tail gearbox assy out 1mm..or so

Could it be as simple as the engine running too rich?

Buy a Dubro Tru-Spin balancer and learn how to use it.

Here's a picture of a Nexus fan and flywheel being balanced on a High Point balancer (hasn 't been sold for years, but the Tru-Spin is the same idea):

The heavy side will rotate to the bottom. Mark it using a Sharpie marker, remove from the balancer, and use a sharp drill to carefully remove material from the heavy side of the clutch bell, fan, whatever it is you're balancing:

Remove a little material, check your work. Repeat until the object being balanced will stay in whatever position you place it on the balancer.

Use this tool to balance the entire assembled tail rotor hub/grips/blades, as well as the main rotor head.

In a pinch, some ice cubes and paper towels work as a balancing jig:

but you'll need a straight rod that fits the bore of the object being balanced...

I think i found the culprit. my one way bearing was frozen and the motor was a little on the rich side. I still get some vibe but it is not as bad as before.
