i sometimes find myself scanning my PMs looking for a particular one.. and its always the same pain, click on the PM, no thats not it, click BACK, click on the same one again thinking its the next one.. etc..

would it be possible to add a <PREV> and <NEXT> to the top of the PMS to make searching through all the PMs simpler?

more ideas

Another idea would be to add a "TOP" function to every post. this way if you're at the middle or bottom of a page and want to go up to the top you could just click the one ICON and it'll shoot you up instantly so you can click on the RR logo (top left) to bounce to the next forum etc... many forums have this basic feature and it comes in very handy when you're reading long posts...
