Just finished installing the electronics in the Blackhawk 500GP. Hopefully it will fly today if all is well. I have added some pictures with the T-rex to compare the size of the two.

Does anyone know what is the largest/smallest blades this helicopter can fly with? I can get 335 mm blades for the T-rex but I am not sure if it would work well.

I have two I will sell cheap they are brand new. One has only 1 flight the other just got the engine. One is with a TOKI 18 engine the other has a TT.15 one is ready to fly,except for the RX you can have them both for $ 579.00 and I will ship them free, you can also use M/C or Visa. Thats a pretty good deal. What is the electronics on it?

I just test flew the 500GP today and it was pretty good. It was very stable and climb outs are as good as my T-rex. I had to disconnect the remot gain in order for it to fly without wagging.

Does anyone know the procedure to get the heli to stop wagging?
I thought I did it right but apperently not.
I have a JR radio so I plug the red tab from the gyro to the GEAR slot. I then went to the gyro screen and turn 0: 50% and 1:50%. I then switched to rate mode and see if it could fly and it wag so much I could not even hover. So I turned both the gain down--to 0% and it still wag. Any info on why this is happening and how to fix it would help.

Hi I live in the UK and have a zoom 450IC but just cannot get the spares,can someone please tell me a good source for spare parts for the Black Hawk 500GP as they are the same Hele.Any help at all PLEASE

are any blackhawk spare here
i tend to get bits from midland helis
but the phrase
(your web site says there in stock)
is uttered alot.

Hi Pete yea Ive had things on order from midland helicopters but they just cannot seem to get them,Trev has said that Protech don't have them in stock so was hoping someone from the USA or where ever might know of a good source.I fitted a Picco race engine in me zoom boy 0 boy it's great but something give way while flying & it fell like a brick,I do have another 450IC with the standard engine but is a bit taim after the picco,if only there was somewhere who had the parts in stock don't care where abouts it is as long as they do mail order

hi, i did have the idea to buy a heli
for spares if you look on ebay you can
get a suprex, that is another name for
the zoom/blackhawk for £103 + £22 post
then break it for spares. if you add up
what you pay at the shops it works out

They sell the Blackhawk here in Oz in a couple of stores local to me, and Im positive in other states as well.
Perhaps do a Google search for Oz stores for parts if you really get stuck?
