| I know I may get a biased answer by posting here, but I trust the opinions of those in this forum.
I currently own a Raptor 30V2 that I bought used and ended up totally re-building (as a result of the previous owner). I am running 30% in the TT39 engine and using the DX7 radio system. I love the heli, and I am transitioning from hovering to basic FF and some form of figure 8's. My knees still wobble when I fly!
I don't have a desire to really do 3D, but would eventually like to do mild aerobatics (loops, rolls, etc). I am also very intrigued with scale and would eventually like to get a scale fuse.
With that being said, would a Stinger 50 be a good heli for me? I am thinking about selling my 30 to a friend who is interested in helis, which leaves me open to buy a brand new setup. I have read where there is a marked difference in quality between Thunder Tiger and Gohbee, but I have never seen a Gohbee (very few heli pilots in my area). |
