Well the flybars are really weak thay could be just alittle stiffer. The dampers i dont like at all kinda weak the spindle was to long .And if you move the blade up and done you can see the bearing inside is loose. ill think of more that was just off the top of my head .But ala and all it flys real good .I like it

I've been flying my 50 for about 3 gallons now and those are about the only 2 real complaints I had as well. I noticed the blade grip slop after engine break in and I thought it might have been cause I just started to bring the hs up. I replaced the grips and haven't noticed it again(been about 2 gallons) at same hs(1900). I thought the flybar flexed a bit more than the raptor, but I don't fly to hard and I've never noticed it in flight.

All together really happy with it. I bought it to put into a tt 530 fuse, but I've been having so much fun flying it I think I'm gonna order another for the fuse and keep flying this one!

Hi Tdriver and Phil...

For the dampers....I'm using the 'On Edge' dampers from Gohbee.
If you fly hard they have 90's and for more casual flying they have 70's. These work really well from my experience.. the stock ones didn't last too long for me and were a little soft...good for beginners I guess. I checked my bearings and I didn't have any noticeable play...
You might call David about that. As far as the flybar goes....I think there is a thicker one available as an upgrade..but not completely sure about that...another good question for David though.

Glad you guys like they way they fly....I do too !..

I think for a few more bucks they could just add that in the kits ...

Unfortunately due to the way the kits are assembled and shipped it is not realistic to include the On Edge damper's as part of the kit.

The bearing slop in the grips is due to the fact that it is required for the bore to be tapered in order to get it out of the mold.
That means that one end of the bore is tight and the other end is loose.
If you look in the raptor forums there are many threads about how to tighten this up. Some use shim stock wrapped around the bearing or a coating of CA or JB weld on the inside of the grip to take up the space.
I just use the metal grips, it has been a few years since I flew plastic grips.

The best thing would be if the kit came unassembled I found the tips of broken off 1.5mm hexwrenches in my rotorhead. So I emailed David and he sent me new parts right away, thats awsome.

An unassembled version has been on my wish list for a long time to.
