| I gave it to her as a gift on her birthday. She’s the Pilot, and I am the Crew Chief! It is sporting a custom paint job by team Lee-Mankin. I did the color and clear coat, and she did the design work. This awesome bird is powered by an OS 50 Hyper with a CY MPII Pipe. Flight controls are powered by the new high torque, high speed, aluminum TT DS1015 servos working the CCPM swash, with a Futaba 8 CH PCM RX, and a MultiGov governor keeping an eye on the headspeed. Tail control is solid with a new LogicTech 6100T gyro/servo combo. Transit speed on that bad boy is 0.05 seconds!
This helicopter flies rock solid! You can set her up for an inverted pass at one end of the runway, let go of the sticks, and she will track down the runway like she is on rails. She really makes you a better pilot!
Mandy and I have been using the buddy box system lately to get her to push herself more. Once we set up the Hurrican to buddy box, her flying has improved tenfold! She is really stoked about her new toy!
