Bergen R/C Helicopters > 3eCCPM conversion for Bergen Helis

Just been speaking with the guys at Multicom Helicentre in Rochdale UK. They tell me they have a 3eccpm conversion on the blocks for the Intrepid 90 / gasser helis. They intend to offer it as a conversion kit consisting of new upper frames, swashplate outer frame, elevator and aileron bellcranks plus any bits of hardware required. I have an Intrepid 60 and gasser at the moment and this sounds like a great way to update the heli. Oh and before this sounds like a sales pitch, no I'm not involved with them, but I do buy parts. There web site is www.bergenhelicopters.com.

I wonder if Chris would consider it an "upgrade". Seems the interaction free design they currently have works well.

I bet he'd chringe at the thought of replacing the frames with CF, too. No accident that they chose G10, from what I understand.

Guess we'll have to see how it pans out.
