Imperio

How do you like yours. I have around 4 flights on mine so far just setting it up. Been waiting for the canopy to get here, which it did today. It was a little tail heavy without the canopy. Here is a picture of it on New Years Day, first flight.

Yet, how did you set the pitch up? TT told me level the blade while doing it.

If I am F3C guy, sure I will like it, but I am not...

I flew it once last year and I was felt like flying a sponge with water in the air, but this puppy auto nice

I have oritntation problem with it from the round canopy shape.

Will you put an OS 90 in there? Oh no! TT91

It has 8:1 gear ratio availble with a lot of work....

Do not crash it, I flew to Japan to get parts. Here is my new love

more on flying this weekend.

This weekend ill work on the set up a little more now that Ill have the canopy on. Its balanced well with an empty tank. I might need an 1 oz of wt in the nose to keep it there.

As I understand no particular 80/90 engine will fit in the Emperio. Correct me if I am wrong !

90 in Imperio

Christopher, I think you are correct. I didn't try, because Japan is supposed to be sending me a conversion kit for the 90, so I left well enough alone with the 60 set up to start getting some practice with it.

I loved the look of the flapping head and everything SO much i ordered one about a month ago and i am eagerly awaiting it, so ill be reading youre stuff with great interest.
I dont know for sure but im getting the gear ratio for 90 with mine and putting a c spec in it and as far as ive been told there are no further mods, the c spec is however .6mm shorter from mount hole to front crank bearing so maybee a different engine mount?, i dont know and am trying to find out from taya engineering about this and also the carbon canopie taya has on his imperio 90, can you guys shed any light on where i can order this?

Also in an old heli mag it shows yamaguchis imperio 60 with a hatori pipe instead of muffler with a short bent pipe in between the header and pipe, as im going to set up with os60sxh-wc first i want to find out the best pipe/muffler to use?

Everyone at my flying field cant wait for mine to arrive cos it looks so cool
